Mt. McKinley Air Tour

On this popular air tour, you will experience the regal mountains that surround 
Mt. McKinley, the tallest mountain in North America.  

Travel over the Matanuska and Susitna Valley with 
the Susitna River and its tributaries below.  

Fly within six miles of McKinley's 20,320 ft. summit.  On clear and calm days, you will 
fly completely around McKinley.  You can be at the 8,000 foot level while 
Mt. McKinley soars another 12,300 feet above you!  

You'll view vast quantities of glaciers, ice falls and crevasses that seem endless.  
View the Kahiltna Glacier and the Ruth Glacier with its 
Great Gorge, at over 9,000 feet it is the worlds deepest.  

On the eastern side of McKinley, you will fly over the 
Don Sheldon Memorial Amphitheater, the largest natural amphitheater in the world.  

You may catch sight of mountain climbers on the glaciers 
making their way up and down the mountain on the extensive south face of McKinley.  

A camera is a must! This is a fabulous trip.
